Hop is not account migration
People often want to “move ChatGPT to Claude.” That can mean two different jobs:
- Hop — take the thread you are looking at and continue it in another model.
- Migrate — copy an entire account history, folders, and memories into another product.
Chat Transfer only does the first. It reads the open page when you click, then copies, exports, or hops. It does not OAuth into your accounts or keep two sites in sync.
If you need full-history migration, that is a different product. We stay small on purpose: fewer permissions, less surprise, easier to review.
